Patch 0.4 and road ahead
First of all, thank you tons! I never thought that my first project would be anything more than a little fun game for me and my friends. A lot of it was coded in a developer fugue state, where I was running on embers, so some stuff is pretty rough around the edges. So, what's new?
Patch 0.4
- Added auto-save system. The game will save every 60 seconds.
- Optimized some events and added 12 new ones.
- Various bug-fixes.
Those bug fixes include void upgrades, some price shenanigans and fate shop being de-spaghettified.
What's next?
Ideally - better event system. Some bones and structures are already there. I want to add "world memory" where your choices would carry from cycle to cycle and add scaling system, where some stinky events like +50 wood, would scale with cycles.
In near future - UI tweaks. Prestige shop is a mess and upgrades are not in a place, where I want them to be. Also, system, where you can see how much of a resource you are getting from clicking and waiting by hovering over its name is almost complete.
I'm also open to your ideas! Only thing I would not implement for sure are holdable clicks and preview of the event rewards (since I really want them to be obscure as a game mechanic), the rest is on the table!

By event rewards I assume that you mean the result of our choices, right?
That's a bit disappointing. I would really love it if we could we see the result of our choices (if we had made them in the past). I wouldn't mind if it was locked behind a prestige purchase.
Nonetheless, keep up the good work.
Yeah! I really like memorization aspect in different games and feeling you get, when you become familiar with outcomes. I will try to rework the system a little, so it's a bit more clear, but the core is where I want it to be.
Thanks for the kind words!
